Autumn 2023

This half term in Combined Studies we have been looking at Extreme Earth. We took part in a volcano experiment, made tornadoes in a bottle, an earthquake evacuation and made a clay tornado scene! In Science, we have been looking at rocks. We have looked at properties of rocks, created rocks from Moams, made fossils and created soil! In Art, we have looked at two artists, JMW Turner and Hokusai. We have created examples of both of their work using different materials. We have even printed using polystyrene tiles! We have created Diva lamps to celebrate Diwali in RE.

Spring 2024

In January we took part in Forest School sessions. We collected bugs, created dens, used the swing, played with tyres and in the mud kitchen and made wands and animals! To finish off we had hot chocolate and a biscuit!

We have been learning about the human skeleton.
