Healthy Schools and Menu

We achieved our Enhanced Healthy Schools status in Summer 2013. This was a joint partnership between staff and pupils who made and implemented suggestions about eating more heathily.

Breakfast Club

Our breakfast club is open from 8.00am until 8.50am every school morning. Pupils are able to choose from various cereals, toast and a drink. Breakfast Club is £2.00 per day.

Lunches

All Lower School Pupils (pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) are entitled to a free school lunch.

We have a two week lunch menu offering a main course, with a vegetarian option, choice of vegetables and a dessert. A salad bar offering at least six different freshly made salads is available most days. Click on the link below to see our current menus.

Menu Thursday 5th September 2019 to Friday 25th October 2019

The majority of the dishes on the menu are made using fresh ingredients in our kitchen and meet the government's nutritional requirements for primary school children. Should your child require a special diet due to medical reasons, please pop into the office and discuss this with us.

Our aim is to reinforce the importance of eating a varied and balanced diet and establish healthy eating habits. We actively encourage pupils to select balanced food choices.

It is important that children have a good nutritious meal at lunch time. If you can't afford school lunches, you may be eligible for free school meals. Please click on the link below to apply for free school meals and check the criteria for eligibility. Please print and when complete return it to the main office for processing.
