Our Lower School Choir and Upper School Choirs take part in many events throughout the academic year such as the Infant Music Festival, Junior Music Festival, Celebration of Christmas, Young Voices and our own Carol Services.

Young Voices - February 2025

Our year 6 choir have been working hard weekly to learn the songs and dance moves for our concert at the O2. Excitement was high as we arrived at the venue to take our place amongst an 8500 strong choir comprised of children from schools from all over the south east and even one from Wales! After an afternoon of rehearsals and a packed lunch tea, the choir absolutely smashed their performance, dancing and singing non stop, and absolutely loving the opportunity to watch the amazing Urban Strides dance crew and the vocal acts in between our own songs. It was an evening that they will remember for years to come and they really were a credit to William Read. 

Infant Music Festival - March 2025

Class 23DH attended the Infant Music Festival. The theme was weather and the children performed 'Put on your Wellington boots'.  It was a fantastic day, enjoying music with other schools and playing instruments.
