Homework

In Year 5 we expect every child to read at least five times a week at home. This can be done by reading a range of genres.

Every child is given 10 weekly spellings to learn at home. This can be done on Spelling Shed or in Home Spelling books. New spellings are given out on a Friday and a spelling test is completed the following Friday.

The children will also receive a piece of maths homework set as 2Do on Purple Mash. This will be set on a Friday and will be due in on the following Thursday.
